Sales Operations Specialist - Life Science

Scope of the role:


Working for an established life science organisation with a product portfolio in the cell manufacturing and therapeutics space.

Utilising your well-developed CRM management background, you will exercise strong sales forecasting and performance reporting, working hand-in-hand with internal departments to deliver timely processing of orders and ensure smooth running of the commercial function.


Key duties will include:


  • Manage the incoming customer ordering process and requests for further information, with speed and accuracy.
  • Support the customer onboarding process including set-up, order verification, updates to schedule, payment and delivery timelines.
  • Using HubSpot to support with pipeline management, performance reporting and to ensure all sales opportunities are maximised.
  • Exploring customer support issues and assigning to correct team (ie – Technical, Quality, Product Management…) ensuring that the customer receives accurate information on who best can resolve their issue.
  • Manage and maintain good vendor relations, regular liaison with external agencies and departments.
  • Work closely with internal operations teams including Sales, Finance, Shipping, and Quality to ensure delivery of seamless order processing.
  • Interpret and present HubSpot data to identify improvements in the sales process, KPI monitoring and forecasting.



Your background:


  • BSc or equivalent in a Life Science discipline.
  • Capable and skilled user of Hubspot – this is an essential criteria. In particular we are keen to see evidence of using the package for commercial operations.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills including ability to analyse and visualise data. Preferrable to have good working knowledge of Google Sheets, and NetSuite.
  • Accustomed to creating productive sales reports from which to inform next stages of the sales and customer fulfilment process.
  • Experienced in vendor management, from within a product-based setting.
