The Role

Construction Disputes - Junior Partner - up to £135,000 salary

This is a unique opportunity that has arisen for a Senior Associate/ Partner to join a leading contentious Construction team.

The role will focus on contentious construction work across a range of sectors including infrastructure, transport, energy and natural resources spanning domestic, international and cross border matters. Clients include employers, developers, funders and major contractors.

The Construction Litigation Solicitor will have a good understanding of the main standard form construction contracts, in particular JCT and/or NECs with proven dispute resolution experience.

The successful applicant will be supervising junior colleagues and reporting to supervising partners. In addition the role will involve maintaining a close working relationship with and supporting award-winning banking and projects practice on a range of matters.

The Candidate

• Construction Solicitor with at least 6+ years’ post qualification or equivalent from a regional/national firm
• Portable following would be highly advantageous
• Previous experience of managing a team of fee earners
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organisation skills
• Commercially aware with enthusiasm for business development
• Strong legal and leadership skills with an eye for detail
