You will play a crucial role in delivering timely news updates and insights on providers, brokers and platforms within the investing, trading and currency transfer industry.

About the Role: This is an ideal opportunity for a recent journalism graduate or a reporter looking to specialise in financial services journalism. You'll be responsible for writing, easily digestible (and some in-depth), engaging articles that break down complex financial products, helping our audience understand how key account types and products like SIPPs, ISAs, pensions, CFDs, spot currency conversions, forward contract pricing, features and services can impact their investments and financial strategies.

You'll have the chance to work closely with industry experts, with access to top level executives at providers, and gain a significant role leading the coverage of the investment, trading, and currency exchange landscapes. The role offers fantastic opportunities for growth within Good Money Guide.

Key Responsibilities

• Write news, features, and analysis pieces on investing accounts, trading platforms, global financial markets, and currency transfers.
• Simplify complex financial concepts for readers, making them both accessible and informative.
• Cultivate a strong network of industry professionals, including CEOs, analysts, fund managers, and market experts, to provide exclusive insights.
• Attend relevant financial events, conferences, and seminars to gather real-time, on-the-ground information.
• Support the growth of Good Money Guide through new content ideas, digital PR, social media promotion, and audience engagement.

About You

• A qualification in journalism or prior experience in the field, with a keen interest in financial markets.
• Strong writing skills, attention to detail, and a passion for translating complex financial jargon into engaging stories.
• Good interpersonal skills for interacting with high-level professionals in the investment and currency sectors.
• Analytical abilities to interpret data, spot trends, and predict market movements.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines with accuracy and confidence.
