Project Quantity Surveyor Design & Build Contractor Buckinghamshire
A respected family-run business specializes in design and build contracting across London and the surrounding areas are looking for a Project Quantity Surveyor. With a turnover of £30m, this contractor has a focus on building a legacy of excellence and a commitment to innovation within construction.
The Project Quantity Surveyor will be involved in the forefront of new build sustainable construction, zero-carbon housing in both the private and public sectors. This contractors projects focus from mixed-use developments to single dwellings, conversions of listed buildings and office to residential conversions.
Responsibilities for the Project Quantity Surveyor: - Oversee cost management and quantity surveying for designated projects.
- Provide precise estimates and cost plans.
- Conduct thorough feasibility studies.
- Prepare meticulous tender and contract documents.
- Engage in effective negotiations with contractors and suppliers.
- Monitor project costs to ensure alignment with budgets.
- Collaborate closely with project teams to optimize cost-efficiency.
- Deliver regular reports on project progress and finances.
Requirements for the Project Quantity Surveyor: - Minimum 5 years experience in a Quantity Surveying position.
- Experience working in a small/mid-sized building contractor.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools, including Excel.
- A related bachelor's degree is advantageous.
- Used to running residential/mixed use projects of a similar nature.
