Housing Officer
Location: Richmond
Hours: Part-time Hybrid (3 days per week: 1 day in office, 2 days work from home)
Salary: £21,000 per annum

Our client is dedicated to helping homeless individuals across five South West London boroughs find secure accommodation and work towards a brighter future.

Key Responsibilities:
- Housing and Licence Management: Provide advice on licence matters, welfare benefits, and rehousing requests. Assist residents with support needs to sustain their licences.
- Property Management: Help achieve void turnaround targets, manage the advertisement of vacancies, and ensure all administrative and legal requirements are met.
- Resident Engagement: Promote resident involvement in service delivery and decision-making. Handle resident complaints effectively and ensure a high-quality living environment.
- Financial Management: Manage rent and service charge payments, take preventative action to minimize arrears, and assist in setting service charges.
What We re Looking For:
- Experience: Either a professional qualification in a relevant field or previous experience in housing management.
- Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and housing management systems.
- Attributes: Resilient, empathetic, and committed to making a positive impact.
Desirable:
- Experience in supported housing or general needs housing management.
- A full clean driving licence and use of your own car.
