Field Sales Engineer
We are looking for 2 experienced Sales Engineers to join the market leading, $9B global engineering corporation. The role is home based covering OEMs within 100 radius.
The company design and manufacture a large range of engineering components used in vehicles, industrial machinery, moving mechanisms and every day products.
The Role
- As a Technical Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Selling high value orders to OEMs and manufacturers throughout: automotive, materials handling, machine builders, industrial engineering
- Identifying new business opportunities, 3x customer visits per day
- Working closely with your sales manager to form sales strategies to develop your patch
- Solutions selling non-standard products as well as selling comprehensive range of off-the-shelf products
- Full product training and support will be provided as expected from a global manufacturer
Requirements
- Essential Qualification: HNC/HND or degree in a mechanical engineering subject
- Sales experience: field sales experience preferred, we are open to highly motivated individuals looking for a break into technical field sales
- This is a proactive field sales role, you must be prepared to generate new business
- Beneficial knowledge, one of the following: hydraulics, pneumatics, springs, linear motion, bearings, couplings, engineered metal or rubber components
- Full UK driving licence
Package
- To £40,000 salary, (OTE with commission £50,000-£55,000)
