Private Equity Associate

A prestigious law firm in London is seeking an ambitious and highly motivated private equity associate, with relevant experience ( 3 PQE +) to join their established and rapidly growing team.

The group is renowned for their high profile, clients and have been pivotal components in some of the largest PE deals in the country.

Responsibilities

• Working on multiple private equity transactions, including drafting and negotiating preliminary documentation.
• Represent sponsors that provide private capital, as well as the companies, management teams, family offices and entrepreneurs who utilise that capital to acquire, create and grow businesses around the globe.
• Advising private equity sponsors, portfolio companies and management teams on a broad range of matters, including auction and buyout processes, majority and minority investments, bolt-ons, exits and corporate advisory work.

Qualifications/Experience

• Key experience in: Exclusivity Agreements, Heads of Terms and Management Equity Term Sheets, as well as SPAs, Disclosure Letters, Investment Agreements and Articles of Association, legal due diligence and ancillary documentation
• PQE 3 - 6 years
• Strong market knowledge of typical terms on private equity transactions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Stellar academic record
• Comparative law firm experience
