We are looking for a talented Bid Writer / Assistant Bid Manager to join their dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact and shape the future of the bid division.
The Role:
You will be a key player in the development and submission of compelling bids and proposals that win new business.
- End-to-End Bid Management: Managing the entire bid process from initial opportunity identification through to final submission, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Content Creation: Writing, editing, and proofreading high-quality bid responses, ensuring clarity, compliance, and alignment with client requirements.
- Strategy Development: Working closely with the Bid Manager to develop winning bid strategies that align with our business objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating with various internal teams, including sales, finance, and operations, to gather necessary information and ensure the bid is compelling and competitive.
- Continuous Improvement: Identifying areas for improvement in the bid process and implementing best practices to enhance the quality and efficiency of submissions.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar Bid Writer / Assistant Bid Manager role is essential, with a proven track record of successful bid submissions.
- Location: Candidates must be based within an hour's commute of Chesham, Buckinghamshire.
- Skills:
- Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
