Percival are excited to be working with The Way Youth Zone to help them recruit for a new Corporate Partnerships Manager to join their small but mighty Fundraising team.


The Way is a fantastic youth charity providing universal, inclusive and high-quality youth provision, letting young people really reach their full potential. Having opened in 2016, they offer a huge range of activities in a state-of-the-art facility run by youth workers, accommodating people aged 8-18. Now, An opportunity has arisen within their fundraising department for a dynamic Corporate Partnerships Manager to spearhead the growth of their developing corporate fundraising portfolio.


Title: Corporate Partnerships Manager

Salary: £38,000 per annum

Working Pattern: Full Time

Contract Type: Permanent

Reporting to: Head of Fundraising & Communications

Location: Hybrid, 4x per week in the Wolverhampton office, WV3 0NR


In this role you will be responsible for proactively identifying, researching, and cultivating a robust pipeline of potential corporate partners, working towards an annual target. You will also deliver exceptional account management to cultivate and grow existing corporate relationships, focusing on retention, increased engagement, and uplift. This will include developing tailored proposals and presentations to secure new patrons, partners, sponsorships, and in-kind donations.


The successful applicant will have:

  • Demonstrable experience developing new corporate pipelines, ideally with experience with lapsed donors, and great stewardship management.
  • Prior experience using a fundraising database (Salesforce)
  • Experience writing successful fundraising proposals, bids and reports
  • Hit and exceeded financial and non-financial fundraising targets
  • Show a commitment to the development of Swanage Pier and heritage sites.
