Health and Safety Advisor required by a specialist utility and infrastructure support services company.
Reporting to the Head of Health and Safety, in this hands on, boots on the ground role you will work with the operational team, conducting audits / inspections, assisting in accident and incident investigations, reviewing and developing RAMS, and helping in the development and maintenance of procedures. You will provide ongoing support to site teams driving engagement, standards and ownership of Health and Safety.
This is a regional role supporting water infrastructure utilities contracts across the North West and Yorkshire region with occasional travel further afield.
Qualifications and experience.
NEBOSH General as a minimum.
NEBOSH Construction and/or NVQ/Diploma level qualifications preferred.
Experience
Experience working within a contractor environment. Utilities, civils and construction projects experience all considered.
All round Health and Safety Advisor level Experience required. To include, conducting audits / inspections, assisting in accident and incident investigations, reviewing and developing RAMS, and helping in the development and maintenance of procedures, supporting site teams, driving engagement, standards and ownership of Health and Safety.
Strong communication skills.
