Description
- Assisting the Senior Quantity Surveyor with construction project management.
- Undertaking cost analysis and cost control for ongoing projects.
- Preparing and analysing project tenders.
- Providing advice on contractual claims and disputes.
- Ensuring that work complies with quality management, legal and safety requirements.
- Performing risk and value management to support procurement strategy.
- Providing support for project accounts and financial reports.
- Assisting with the procurement of construction materials and equipment.
Profile
A successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor should have:
- Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Strong numerical and budgeting skills.
- Excellent understanding of construction processes and materials.
- Good knowledge of construction contracts and legal frameworks.
- Experience in assisting with the management of construction projects.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
