GSL Education Sheffield is looking for an energetic and dedicated Sports Coach to join a dynamic school in Sheffield.

As a Sports Coach, you will have the opportunity to motivate and guide students, helping them to develop their athletic skills, teamwork, and a lifelong love for physical activity.

• Plan and deliver engaging and varied sports lessons that cater to different skill levels.
• Provide individual and group coaching to improve students sports techniques and performance.
• Organise and lead school sports events, competitions, and extracurricular activities.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students.
• Monitor and assess students progress, providing feedback and setting goals for improvement.
• Collaborate with other staff to integrate physical education into the wider school curriculum.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of students during all sporting activities.

• Experience as a Sports Coach or in a similar role, ideally within a school environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
• A positive attitude and a passion for promoting physical health and fitness.
• Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
