Security Consultant, Information Security
Opportunity Overview:
A global leader is seeking a Security Consultant to provide expert security guidance to key business units and programs. This role involves supporting projects through the security due diligence process, performing risk assessments, and ensuring the secure delivery of services.
You will be joining a global practice, circa 150,000+ heads, in a well-established security practise. Helping contribute to a mature security outlook working underneath the Head of IS Services & Risk Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with business units to manage and implement security effectively.
- Provide Information Security consultancy on projects, solution design, and compliance.
- Conducted and interpreted risk assessments, recommended treatments, and supported remediation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with business partners to ensure security is integrated into all initiatives.
- Facilitate the closure of Secure Project Lifecycle processes and support Risk Acknowledgement and Mitigation Plans (RAMPs).
Candidate Profile:
- Ideally experience in an Information Security Consultancy Role
- Strong experience in Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe) and DevSecOps environments.
- Proficiency in risk and governance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27005, EBIOS).
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Information Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are required.
- Experience working in multinational companies and translating security risks into business terms.
Location:
- Ipswich (Hybrid, 3 days per week on-site)
Salary:
- £55,000 - £70,000 Basic Per Annum
- 15% Bonus
- 12% Pension (You contribute 3%)
