Job Opportunity: Fundraising Strategy Consultant
Location: Hybris working - 2 days a week onsite in London 3 days WFH
Fixed Term Contract for 12 months (Maternity Cover)
Salary: 40,000 - 43,000
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Fundraising Strategy Consultant for our client to lead high-value consultancy projects for charity and corporate clients, while supporting senior advisors in developing business opportunities across corporate, public, and private sectors. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in shaping our fundraising advisory services and overall strategy for charity clients, contributing to broader impact initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic fundraising consultancy projects for charity clients, and assist senior advisors in business development across corporate, private, and public sector clients.
- Oversee and deliver high-quality client assignments, ensuring effective project management and a strong focus on client satisfaction.
- Support the development and expansion of the fundraising advisory service, helping to shape business strategy and build a future pipeline of opportunities.
- Guide fundraising strategy development, advising charity clients on major donor fundraising, individual giving, and other key areas of income generation.
- Create compelling proposals in response to business leads, ensuring client needs are met and the value of our services is communicated effectively.
- Grow and maintain client relationships, focusing on long-term partnerships and securing multi-service contracts that integrate fundraising consultancy, grantmaking, and social investment.
- Collaborate across teams to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients, identifying synergies and ensuring alignment with broader impact strategies.
- Work with colleagues nationally and internationally to share best practices and maximize opportunities across the network.
- Position the organization externally as a thought leader in the charity and fundraising sector, building recognition as a trusted partner and maximizing business opportunities.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Expertise in charity fundraising consultancy, particularly in major donor and individual fundraising strategies.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet client expectations.
- A strategic thinker, able to contribute to the growth and direction of the advisory business and identify new opportunities.
- Strong client relationship management, with experience in expanding and retaining long-term client engagements.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present and articulate fundraising strategies clearly and effectively.
- Collaborative approach, working well with internal teams and clients to deliver impactful solutions.
