RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Quality Engineer at BUOYANCY AEROSPACE, your responsibilities include the following:

  • Work closely under the direction of the Quality Manager.
  • Communicate quality issues with customers and suppliers.
  • Prepare First article inspection reports.
  • Lead/support RCCA activities and the NCR process dealing with non-conforming products while implementing robust corrective actions.
  • Generate, implement, and maintain procedures, processes, work instructions and SOPs.
  • Review and manage customer specifications.
  • Manage the calibration system.
  • Conduct Internal audits to schedule.
  • Support customer and regulatory audits.
  • Support the reporting of KPIs.



ESSENTIALS

  • AS9100 Internal auditor certification.
  • Previous experience as Quality engineer in the aerospace industry.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of AS9100 QMS requirements.
  • IT Literate.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.

DESIRABLE

  • Working knowledge of NADCAP framework and accreditation process.
  • Lead Auditor accreditation to AS9100 and ISO 9001
  • HNC/HND in engineering or equivalent combination of work and experience.
