Key Responsibilities:
- Managing complex transport planning projects with the support of Directors and the Transport team
- Providing consultancy advice that demonstrates a sound understanding of client requirements
- Delivering projects that balance competing stakeholder interests
- Leading the development and delivery of transport planning projects
- Ensuring effective resource management in project execution
Job Requirements:
- Experience in transport planning within a private consultancy or local authority environment
- Understanding of transport planning policy and project delivery
- Experience with Transport Statements, Assessments, and Travel Plans
- Familiarity with access strategy work, parking strategies, sustainable transport, S106 and S278 agreements, NPPF, DfT guidelines, and Manual for Streets
- Proficiency in using the TRICS database
- Experience with PICADY and ARCADY
- Understanding of LINSIG for different modelling scenarios
- Knowledge of micro-simulation and strategic models/modelling
- Junction design skills including priority, roundabout, and signals
- Degree in a related subject (a master's degree in transport is desirable)
