This highly respected National contractor, operating across the UK, has a long and established history with capability in both public and private sector work enjoying high volumes of repeat business.
Currently on site with a major regeneration scheme in the heart of Plymouth, they are in need of additional administration resource in the form of a Document Controller
Providing full support to the Project team, you'll be responsible for Document control including:
- Collating, updating, distributing & tracking project documentation
- Ensuring correct organisation of documents - using coding/referencing for storage and easy recall
- Reviewing document history ensuring versions are updated to include the latest revisions where necessary
- Using 4P to upload drawing and documents for the wider project teams/consultants
- Collating new data & notifying relevant parties of any changes.
- Database management
The ideal candidate will have:
• Previous, demonstrable Construction experience gained in a similar role specifically with a Tier 1 contracting business ideally
• Sound PC literacy skills and previous knowledge of 4P or online Document Control Software
• A good eye for detail and effective communication skills
• The ability to work in an organised and methodical manner
This is a full time role for 12 months and presents a great opportunity to join a busy & successful team delivering a fantastic project for the community.
