Job Title: Recruitment Partner

Job Overview:

As a rapidly growing organisation, we are expanding our Internal Recruitment team, with an experienced Engineering Recruiter. A newly created role, offering the scope to bring new ideas and work towards improved processes. The role will suit a highly motivated professional, who demonstrates a solid understanding of talent management and candidate attraction within the engineering sector. We are looking for a proactive approach, proven success in high-volume recruitment and the ability to work in a paced business environment.


Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday; 8:30am – 5pm

Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Work alongside Hiring Managers to determine qualifications and criteria for the various engineering vacancies we recruit.
  • Conducting a full search and shortlisting process to identify suitable candidates.
  • Advertise job openings on careers pages, job boards, and social networks utilising all avenues and network opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers to ensure job specifications are kept up to date.
  • Conduct the initial screening of candidates to ensure they fit the criteria prior to interview stage.
  • Guiding Hiring Managers throughout the recruitment process, providing industry advice where necessary.
  • Work towards building a sufficient candidate database.
  • Update with candidates through the hiring process, ensuring they always receive an excellent service.
  • Manage the booking of candidate interviews at the various hiring stages.
  • Support in the development of ideas towards recruitment, inductions and candidate attraction.
  • Managing stakeholder expectations on the recruitment timeline and level of assistance that’s required from them.


Experience Required:


  • Previous recruitment experience within the engineering sector.
  • A good understanding of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Previous experience of working with applicant tracking systems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Highly organised and ability to work within a fast-paced organisation.
  • Adaptable and eager to learn.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Ability to engage well with stakeholders and provide regular updates to senior hiring managers.
