Key Responsibilities as a GIS Senior Developer
- Design, develop, and maintain GIS applications and services using ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, and ArcGIS API for JavaScript or Python
- Mentor junior GIS developers and provide guidance on best practices and methodologies.
- Develop and implement web-based mapping applications and interactive visualization tools.
- Perform spatial analysis and data manipulation using ArcGIS tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, SQL).
Core experience, Qualifications, and Skills
- You will have experience with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) and proficiency in GIS programming and scripting languages, particularly ArcPy, Arcade, Python and SQL.
- Experience with spatial databases (e.g., Oracle Spatial, PostgreSQL / PostGIS, SQL Server) and data management practices.
- You will demonstrate experience in GIS development, with a focus on ArcGIS and Opensource GIS technologies
