Are you and ECT or experience Religious Education Teacher looking for a new role?

We have an exciting opportunity to work with a widely popular secondary school in Surrey who are looking for someone to cover a years maternity from January 2025!

The Role of a Religious Studies Teacher:
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to contribute to the school community
  • Starting January 2025, full time.
  • Teach Religious Studies across KS3 and KS4
  • Plan lessons suitable to all abilities
  • Ensure positivity is at the heart of all interactions, promoting enriching learning environments
  • Promote inclusion across the school
The Ideal Religious Studies Teacher will:
  • Be confident teaching Religious Studies to KS3 & KS4 Level
  • Hold a Teaching qualification (with QTS) or equivalent
  • be able to adjust teaching practice to meet the needs of all students
  • Be approachable, engaging and nurturing
  • Have strong behaviour management skills
  • ECTs welcome to apply
  • A deep understanding of world religions, philosophies, and ethical debates
