Key Responsibilities:
- Craft, customize, and execute high-quality Shopify stores.
- Integrate external apps and utilize Shopify-supported tools.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to bring visual concepts to life.
- Write clean, efficient code and maintain thorough documentation.
- Perform testing, debugging, and code reviews to maintain quality standards.
- Enhance site performance with a focus on fast loading times, Web Vitals, and Accessibility standards.
- Ensure cross-browser and platform compatibility for optimal user experience.
- Work with large datasets and manage data processes effectively.
- Handle migrations to and from Shopify.
- Deliver tailored technical solutions based on client needs.
- Stay up-to-date with Shopify advancements and industry best practices.
- Provide ongoing technical support to clients.
- Lead project management initiatives, ensuring timely delivery.
- Be open to learning additional Ecommerce platforms for a broader understanding.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Shopify Developer, focusing on complex builds.
- Expertise in Shopify’s theming system and Liquid templating.
- Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design.
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks and pre-processors.
- Hands-on experience with Shopify’s API and creating custom apps.
- Familiarity with popular Shopify apps and third-party solutions (CRM, Search, Shipping, etc.).
- Understanding of SEO principles.
- Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility solutions.
- Experience with version control tools (Git, BitBucket).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
