The Product and Banking Relationship Director is a senior management role responsible for overseeing and driving the strategic direction of product development and banking relationships. This role involves ensuring the effective execution of departmental tasks, achieving established goals, and serving as a key influencer and innovation evangelist within the organisation. This role will report directly to the CEO and play a critical role in shaping and implementing strategies that align with the company's objectives.
Responsibilities
- Drive market requirements for the Clear Junction team
- Manage and lead our Product and Banking Relationship team
- Guide establishing relationships with new banking and non-bank partners (providers) and manage and develop current partnerships that will help us build new, and enhance existing solutions
- Lead the development of product strategy, translating it into use cases, requirements and roadmaps
- Manage product pipeline, drive product development projects, capitalising on cross-functional cooperation
- Provide input into pricing policies
- Provide general oversight of the delivery of client services, identifying areas for improvement
- Drive the development of tailored solutions for one-of-a-kind customers
- Build a knowledge base, be the go-to product expert and partnership consultant for internal teams
- Ensure that all activities comply with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations, including data protection and risk management standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Established experience and skills in a similar capacity in the banking/fintech/payments space in a Director or Senior Manager level role
- Expertise in developing and launching payment products, including cross-border solutions
- Experience in Banking Relationship Management / Correspondent Banking
- Knowledge and experience of crypto assets and blockchain technology
- Extensive experience with Banks and Financial Institutions
- Experience in fintech startups/scaleups
- Excellent project management skills
- An effective leader and communicator, with an ability to manage stakeholders at all levels
- Product-oriented mindset
- Solid understanding of risk and compliance requirements
- An appetite to develop and share new knowledge
- A can-do attitude to make a positive contribution to the company
