Trainee Machine Operative job description: We are seeking a motivated and eager-to-learn Machine Operative to join our client on a temp to perm basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of machines, including die cutting presses and knife cutting presses. This role is ideal for someone looking to expand their knowledge and expertise in machine operations within a thriving company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate die cutting presses and knife cutting presses efficiently and safely.
- Set up and calibrate machines according to specifications.
- Monitor machines during operation to ensure optimal performance and quality.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in machine operation is preferred but not required.
- A willingness to learn.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.

Monday to Friday
£11.75 per hour
7am - 4pm with overtime available
Opportunity for a permanent contract after 12 weeks
