Are you an experience HR Business Partner or HR Generalist in a fast-paced, multinational organization with experience aligning HR strategies with business goals in a specific market (preferably the German market)?


Can you leverage HR data and analytics to drive key business decisions?


Do you have the ability to manage projects with ambiguity and shift priorities when required?


MacGregor Black are partnering with a global drinks business on the search for a HRBP Germany. This is a permanent role based in West London.


Key Responsibilities


Strategic HR Leadership:

  • Act as a strategic partner to business leaders in the German market, providing insights and counsel on organizational design, talent strategy, and workforce planning to align HR initiatives with business goals.
  • Collaborate with the Global HR team to drive HR strategies that support global initiatives while ensuring they are localized for the German market.
  • Champion and lead organizational change efforts, driving alignment on strategic HR initiatives across emerging markets.

Operational HR Excellence:

  • Deliver hands-on HR support across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and exit processes.
  • Ensure legal compliance with German labour laws and regulations, partnering with external legal counsel where necessary.
  • Provide oversight of HR processes including payroll, benefits, and compensation to ensure operational efficiency and accuracy.

Performance & Talent Management:

  • Implement and manage talent development programs, ensuring the identification and growth of high-potential talent to meet future business needs.
  • Drive the performance management cycle, working with managers to ensure robust feedback, coaching, and development plans for employees.
  • Partner with leadership on succession planning, helping to identify critical roles and develop strategies for building a pipeline of internal talent.

Data-Driven HR Decision Making:

  • Use analytics to identify trends, provide insights, and make data-driven decisions that impact talent strategy and business results.
  • Regularly report on key HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives and recommend improvements where necessary.

Employee Relations & Engagement:

  • Foster a positive and inclusive work culture that promotes employee engagement, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Act as the point of contact for employee relations issues, ensuring timely resolution of conflicts, grievances, and other HR-related matters.
  • Conduct employee engagement surveys and partner with leadership to develop action plans based on feedback.

  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving, delivering swift and pragmatic HR solutions that enable business success.


What are we looking for?


  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist, preferably within a multinational organization, focusing on the German market.
  • Demonstrated ability to work at both strategic and operational levels, with a solid understanding of local HR practices and employment law.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret HR metrics and data to drive decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and partner with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • A results-driven mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a flexible and agile approach to work.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree or relevant HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is a plus.
