Lead Data Engineer - SC Cleared - AWS

SR2 is recruiting a Lead Data Engineer for a complex data and technology transformation programme currently underway. Successful candidates will join a multi-year programme and will be responsible for managing a team of 3 Data Engineers.

We are seeking someone with a strong technical background in building Java-based microservices, AWS Glue, PySpark, SQL, and Athena to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimising data pipelines and platforms in a cloud environment

Experience required:

• Active SC clearance
• Java Microservices
• SQL (Athena or Redshift)
• AWS (S3, Lambda, Glue)
• PySpark
• Experience managing data engineers

This is an urgent role offering a 6 month rolling contract outside IR35.
