Senior Engineer – Microsoft Cloud Security – Remote

#TeamCandour are working with a thriving Microsoft Gold Partner to build out their team offering consultancy services in the areas of Cloud / Azure / Microsoft Security. These roles would suit accomplished senior engineers working with tech like Defender / Sentinel / Identity looking to develop their careers in the direction of client facing consultancy.

Remote working is both offered & encouraged with the occasional need to attend client site an integral part of the remit.

The role:

As part of the Microsoft Cloud Consultancy Team a Professional Services Engineer will be responsible for executing technical deliverables for customer projects and providing them with competent technical guidance ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and quality of work.

You will be:

• Leading the implementation of agreed upon technical designs
• Diagnosing and fixing technical challenges for our customers
• Gain foundational understanding of all products and solutions offered across the team in its entirety
• Generating post-delivery documents
• Working closely with our project management team, ensuring project milestones and deadlines are met

The overall plan for ALL joining engineers will be to work & progress towards the level of a fully fledged consultant within the Cloud Consultancy Team

The skills & experience you’ll need to bring:

Experience as a Support Analyst/Engineer

Proven knowledge of related technology solutions:

Administration of Microsoft online services (Exchange Online, Entra ID, Purview)

Microsoft Identity with Entra ID services (Cloud/Hybrid Identities)

Microsoft Identity security services (Conditional Access, PIM, IDP, RBAC)

Proven experience troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges.

Email Security/Defender for Office

Experience with managing SIEM solutions

Experience with managing Endpoint Protection solutions
