Location - Swindon

Alecto Recruitment Ltd currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Service and Maintenance Manager to join an established Plumbing and Heating organisation based in the Swindon area and on a permanent and fully employed basis.

Job Summary:

• Acting as a Head of Department / Service Manager.
• You'll be responsible for managing and leading a team of gas / heating engineers.
• Responsible for managing mainly domestic heating works, with our client being involved in a range of plumbing, heating, gas and oil boiler servicing and maintenance work.
• Schedule and coordinate engineers and diary workloads.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training and development opportunities for staff.
• Handle customer enquiries and resolve any service-related issues promptly.
• Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies and equipment.

Key Skills and Experience Required:

• You must have previous experience as a Gas Engineer, Heating Engineer or OFTEC Engineer.
• Be able to demonstrate leadership and previous management experience, ideally with similar experience as a Service Manager or Head of Department within the Plumbing and Heating industry.
• Good IT and Computer skills.
• You'll need to live commutable to Swindon and to be considered for the role.
