Religious Education Teacher

TeacherActive are currently recruiting for a part-time (4 days per week) Religious Education Teacher to start immediately at one of our partner schools in Medway.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and thought-provoking Religious Education lessons to students across various year groups.

• Foster a respectful classroom environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to express their ideas.

• Develop and implement a curriculum that covers a wide range of religious beliefs, ethics, and philosophical thought.

• Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.

• Collaborate with colleagues to promote cross-curricular learning and extra-curricular activities related to religious studies.

What We re Looking For:

• A qualified teacher with a degree in Religious Studies, Theology, Philosophy, or a related field.

• Excellent communication skills and a passion for teaching and inspiring young people.

• A commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment.

• Experience teaching Religious Education at secondary level is preferred but not essential.

• A proactive and innovative approach to curriculum development and teaching.
