We are now hiring, for our site in Peterborough:

Electrical Design Engineer

Job Purpose

To design, test and where necessary, commission, electrical control systems for Baker Perkins machinery, meeting contractual/customer requirements within time and budget restraints.

Main Duties

Design our control panels, using our standard or designing from zero

Specify and issue electrical hardware parts lists according to contract specifications,

Specify technical requirements for bought out equipment

Progressively help with the development and producing PLC and HMI software (Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi…)

Produce machine functional specifications and test specifications

Test equipment in our assembly shop and on customer sites (when required)

Technical assistance pre-sale and post-sale

Help research and develop new products when required

Candidate Profile

Background and/or experience in Industrial Electrical Engineering

Experience in control panel design

Curiosity to learn more about PLC systems and HMI software

Ability and pleasure to travel around the world for some weeks per year

Solution-driven and customer-oriented sensibility

Team spirit and sense of commitment
