We are looking for an experienced Stock Manager to ensure accurate and efficient management of inventory through detailed analysis of sales and stock data. The scope of the role involves maintaining optimal stock levels, ensuring availability of products and components in line with supply and demand whilst advising on procurement strategy. Key tasks include monitoring stock levels, coordinating the intake and delivery of stock, maintaining inventory records and stock reporting. Working within the Production Team, you will analyse sales and stock data on a daily and monthly basis advising stock replenishment instruction to the team. You will work closely with the Customer Service and Warehouse teams advising stock delivery dates, monitoring out of stocks, tracking new, continuous and delisted product and instruct seasonal order picking.


This is a fast-paced role, you will thrive in a busy environment. Involving a high level of data analysis, you must have proven excel skills, with the ability to extract data from our management system for reporting and linking stock to orders. You will also be responsible for continuous improvement of inventory processes as the business expands.


What you will do / Role Responsibilities

 

·        Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels across product ranges.

·        Stock Reporting: Extract stock and sales data for weekly and monthly analysis. Identify top performing lines, slow sellers and assess the daily order report.

·        Forecasting: Dissect stock into categories, ensuring stock levels meet expected demand, linking stock to orders. Collaborate with Sales team on stock requirements and reservations and manage major key clients stock allocations.

·        Stock Replenishment: Collaborate with production team to ensure stock availability, instructing reorder/top up volumes, taking product lead times into consideration.

·        Stock Counts: Instruct seasonal and yearly stock counts, adjusting stock to ensure accurate figures.

·        Product Build: Action new product set up, building components into final product onto system for core and bespoke products.

·        Deliveries: Track and monitor stock deliveries from UK & Overseas suppliers.

·        Purchasing: Purchasing of minor components

·        Warehouse Coordination: Instruct seasonal picking & packing of orders product in line with delivery dates.

 

Who you will be / Essential Skills

 

·        Proven experience in stock management, ideally minimum of 2yrs.

·        Experience of SAGE Intact or Business Cloud Advanced or similar software

·        Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel (data extraction, manipulation and reporting)

·        Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Sheets

·        Ability to analyse, interpret and present data

·        Proficient with moving items through the various phases of the supply chain

·        Awareness of retail i.e. pocket counts and EPOS figures from key clients, including cost pricing, retail pricing and margins

·        Efficient in responding to emails, problem solving and file management

·        Good planning, organisation skills and excellent workload management

·        The ability to multi-task while ensuring accuracy

·        Excellent written and verbal communication

·        A team player who can also work effectively on their own

·        A flexible outlook and ‘can do’ attitude

 

The Package

·        Competitive Salary (with guaranteed yearly increase matched with inflation, capped at 7.5%)

·        23 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing by 1 day per year of service, up to 28 days

·        1 Day a week hybrid working available after training period

·        4pm finish every Friday
