Lead Software Developer - High-Performance Systems
Location - London
Salary - £160k + Bonus
Type - Hybrid x4 Onsite
We are seeking a Lead Software Developer to work on cutting-edge, low-latency systems using core Java. You'll be part of a collaborative, fast-paced environment that encourages pair programming and continuous learning, with opportunities to rotate between teams and develop new skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop high-performance, reliable software and ensure thorough testing before deployment.
- Work on both backend and frontend components, including system architecture, performance optimization, and cloud-based solutions.
- Collaborate closely with small teams of developers and testers to solve complex problems.
- Contribute to a continuous integration environment, helping maintain a robust testing framework.
Tech Stack:
- Backend: Java, MySQL, Kafka
- Frontend: JavaScript, Vue.js
- Deployment: Kubernetes, Nomad
- Testing: JUnit, JMH, Selenium
- Data: Python, Docker, Parquet
- OS: Linux (Fedora for dev, Rocky for production)
