Advanced Administration Role in the Public Sector
Location: Plymouth, PL1
Duration: November 2024 to Mid-January 2025
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9 AM - 5 PM
Pay: £12.18 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary contact for parents, headteachers, SEN coordinators, and other service users for pupils undergoing statutory assessment.
- Oversee the receipt and logging of Annual Review reports.
- Collaborate with the Admissions Team to ensure the allocation of places, including phased transfers, aligns with Plymouth Authority's Admission Policy.
- Maintain, review, and amend approximately 450 Statements of Special Educational Needs annually, adhering to statutory timelines.
- Communicate with parents/carers and professionals throughout each stage of the assessment process, including providing, requesting, and following up on information.
- Serve as the initial point of contact for parents, educational professionals, and schools regarding Admission Panels and Annual Reviews.
- Handle general administrative tasks, such as arranging meetings, answering customer queries, and managing emails.
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Confident in working independently and proficient with Microsoft Office packages.
- Knowledge of the Education Sector is advantageous.
