Business Development Manager + 55k basic + 20k OTE + 7200 car allowance + 33 days holiday (inc BH) + Contract KBB division + Remote/ Field based role
Our client are a leading manufacturer of furniture for the contract Kitchen, Bathroom and Bedroom (KBB) marketplace. They are looking for two Business Development Managers to join them, one covering the North London area and one covering the South London area.
Responsible for:
- Managing relationships and opportunities from existing client base
- Identifying new targets of opportunity
- Formulating plans and strategies to gain contacts with target organisations leading to obtaining opportunities to tender on new sites/ projects.
- Planning appropriate responses to those opportunities and compile detailed and accurate briefs for submission into the Design & Estimating Team
- Be clear on the commercial requirements of each opportunity and work alongside the Design & Estimation team to achieve the necessary outcome
- Use CRM system as company company process to register and track opportunities. To compile reports and forecast for the Head of Contract and Sales Director as required.
- Attend any internal or external client meets as required
- Follow company process at all times and engage as appropriate with any other department head, or member of the board of directors in order to progress an opportunity
- To assist the installation and customer service teams in the resolution of tissues arising on site where sales support is required.
- The ability to create and present persuasive documents for internal and external stakeholders

Key skills:
- Software skills, CRM System (Anthill), Office & Administration, Smartsheet
- A proven background in the contract kitchen, bedrooms & bathroom marketplace, or closely related product
- The ability to fully understand a customer brief and robustly communicate with the design team to ensure planning conditions are met within a given budget
- A good knowlede of kitchen, bedroom and bathroom dedign in order to have persuasive customer relationships effecting conversion outcomes
- Industry contacts preferable
- Self assured in communication style, being the expert face of the company to all customers whether in person or via electronic communication
- A working knowledge of furniture installation processes & needs
- A working knowledge of materials and processes used in the furniture industry
- Proactive approach to the role and the task of new business generation
