Fresh People are currently looking to recruit a CIMA or ACCA qualified Regional Finance Manager for a Fresh Produce Wholesale business covering SW Region who will be responsible for working closely with the Branch Managers and Regional Directors to maximise commercial opportunities and identify any potential risks for each business cost centre within the Region . Part hybrid working visiting all 3 sites every week sites include Cardiff & Bristol

The Person

Suitable qualified candidates will have previously worked as a Finance Manager managing multiple sites or in a similar regional role where you have had Commerical responsibity preferably within Fresh produce , Food Manufacturing or FMCG .

The Role

• Responsible for management accounts , forecasting and commerical analysis.
• Prepaee financial information & analysis to key stakeholders
• Create Monthly and quarterly forecasts , annual budgets ,variance analysis and KPI s
• Identifying risks and opportunities to enable delivery of each branch targets
• Develop, rigorously challenge the budget/forecast assumptions
• Provide Monthly Review Packs and participate in the Branch monthly review meetings
• Identify business performance variances and propose recommendations for improvements
• Consignment reconciliation and margin management through analysis, and challenge
• Develop and understand distribution cost reporting & KPI s
• Benchmarking performances across locations
• Monitor new business performance and profitability
• Prepare monthly accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Attend monthly stock takes
• Managing compliance to minimize risk and ensure transparency i
• Liaison with internal and external auditors
