Role: Desk Head – Senior Relationship Manager, Private Banker – London, United Kingdom
I am recruiting on behalf of a global Multi-Family Office who are looking for an experienced Relationship Manager to build the UK desk from scratch.
The firm provides their U-HNW clients with the most competitive Investment Advisory, Corporate Finance and Securities Trading products and services in the market. Clients are not just Family Offices but corporate clients, Institutional Investors and HNW individuals. As the business is run by ex-senior bankers from the likes of Deutsche, they know what is needed to be successful. The Relationship Managers at the firm have access to all the major banks globally, multi-booking centres and open architecture which offers a truly flexible approach for their clients.
Job Description:
- Set up and develop a UK desk from scratch. This requires the candidate to have an existing book of clients that they can bring into the firm.
- Responsible for hiring and developing a team of UK Relationship Managers.
- The candidate must continue to generate new clients into the firm and be developing their book.
- Heavily involved with the strategy of the business as a whole and sit on various committees.
- Diversify and expand on what you can offer your clients with access to all the major banks globally.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a client facing wealth management/private banking job.
- Strong track-record of building a personal book of clients from scratch whilst providing advisory services.
- Experience in opening accounts of a minimum £1m and dealing with book sizes of +£150m AuM.
- Deep understanding of financial markets, investment products, and wealth management strategies.
- Qualified to give advice
