iotaSciences is a leading provider of next generation single cell handling solutions enabling researchers to increase the speed and efficiency of cell biology research to accelerate new frontiers, helping them to get the most out of every cell and progress the therapies of the future – faster!

To further expand our footprint in Europe we are looking for Junior Sales Managers who are motivated to help delivering those next generation solutions through successful partnerships with leading academic institutions and pharma/biotech companies in the UK and Nordic regions.

The successful candidate will be part of our sales team, providing a key role in generation of leads/sales where the initial focus will be on our core EU markets e.g. UK, DACH, Italy, Spain, France, Benelux and the Nordics playing an important role in educating scientists and driving interest for our products. These efforts will be supported by internal alongside external lead generating activities.


Job Responsibilities

o  Contribute to sales targets in line with company strategy

o  Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs

o  Provide continuous support to customers pre- and post-sale, in person, via phone, e-mail or web

o  Gain a complete understanding of the product operation and workflow with hands-on experience.

o  Provide technical training to customers, including wet-lab demonstrations and software training

o  Present to scientific audiences in academic/industry settings and represent the company at international conferences and exhibitions

o  Documenting, tracking and managing all leads and customer interaction through Salesforce CRM

o  Maintain professional awareness of competitor activity, product developments and customer requirements


Requirements

o  BSc degree in life sciences or related discipline

o  Experience in at least one of the following fields – cell line development, CRISPR, gene editing or iPSC

o  Ideally first experience in scientific instrument sales for cell biology

o  Strong data analyses combined with presentation and verbal communication skills

o  Ability to work in a team environment, meet deadlines, and prioritize work

o  Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

o  Ability to handle multiple tasks in parallel and balance workload based on priority of assignments

o  Ability and willingness to travel, including international travel
