THE COMPANY: This company exclusive supplier of niche medical devices is experiencing a period of tremendous growth having trebled revenue in the last 6 years and added new employees in each of the last 8. Having recently won exclusive supplier agreements for a range of exciting new products and thanks to substantial investment, they are looking to expand the business by recruiting a Strategic Business Development Manager to focus on the new products, build on the foundations already in place, and develop a sales & training team in the future

THE ROLE: This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced medical device salesperson to develop a specialist business unit within an existing company structure. With a network of KOLs already in place, your role will be to drive sales of an exciting range of highly innovative ENT surgery equipment and consumables including a laryngeal implant, dilation balloon and specialist haemostasis products. These are not “me too” products; they have USPs that are generating huge interest from the market and are extremely highly regarded worldwide

PROGRESSION: As you build revenue across the UK, your future responsibilities will move towards hiring and leading a new team of salespeople and clinical training specialists to continue driving growth and developing this business channel. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial salesperson with the ambition to run your own business unit

REQUIREMENTS

· Well-established and successful medical devices salesperson

· Surgical equipment sales experience

· Excellent new business skills and entrepreneurial mindset

· Ideally experience in ENT surgery and/or medical imaging

· Ambitious and career driven

The Package for Strategic Business Development Manager:

· Basic: £50,000 to £60,000

· Bonus: £30,000 OTE + uncapped commission

· Car: Fully expensed company car or car allowance of £650 / month

· Benefits: 6% Pension, 25 days holiday + stats, health insurance, death in service

The Strategic Business Development Manager covers: the UK and as such, applicants must be willing to travel nationally.
