Pay Rate: 21- 23 per hour (depending on experience, via umbrella)
Working Hours: 9.5 hours paid per day

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Crane Supervisor for a long-term project in Luton, starting at the beginning of November. This role offers a competitive pay rate between 21 and 23 per hour, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have a CPCS Slinger Card and SSSTS or SMSTS qualification, with a solid background in crane supervision and site safety management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all crane lifting operations on-site, ensuring they are carried out safely and efficiently.
• Direct and supervise the lifting team, ensuring that slingers and crane operators are following safe working practices.
• Ensure compliance with site health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks as needed.
• Communicate with site management and other teams to coordinate lifting activities.
• Conduct daily inspections of lifting equipment to ensure it is in safe working condition.

Requirements:

• CPCS Slinger Card (valid and in date).
• SSSTS or SMSTS (valid and in date).
• Proven experience as a crane supervisor on construction sites.
• Strong knowledge of lifting operations and health and safety practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
