Job Requirements/Description
Our little girl is 11 years old and is an amazing child who makes sense of the world in a very sensory fashion. She loves music and water, and really enjoys interaction on a one to one basis through sensory play.
As our daughter is home schooled full time, we are looking for an enthusiastic & self-driven individual. Having some experience in SEN, PMLD, as well as special needs care, would be a great advantage, although we will provide training. This person would join our fabulous team (consisting of an SEN teacher, an experienced TA and a physiotherapist), develop a relationship with our daughter whilst working with her to engage in her educational activities and just get as much enjoyment from her life as possible.
The total weekly hours would be 10-15hrs at £12/hr (specific days to be discussed at the interview). We would occasionally have some additional hours available (to cover for holidays and illness) and would be happy to discuss what you can offer, our priority being your personality, skills and experience. We very much operate as a team and support each other by sharing ideas and expertise as we progress on this journey together.
We would require a DBS and can support with a DBS check application. Training would be provided in all relevant areas. Start date is flexible. We really look forward to welcoming another member to our little unit.
