About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for a Senior IT Support Engineer to join a fast-growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in London. This is a hybrid role offering flexibility to work both remotely and on-site. You will be a key player in delivering high-quality technical support and projects for a variety of clients across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 2nd and 3rd line support, with a focus on resolving complex technical issues.
- Maintain and support physical servers, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Manage firewalls and networking infrastructure, ensuring security and efficiency.
- Provide support for hybrid cloud environments, with a focus on Microsoft Azure and Office 365.
- Participate in IT projects, including server upgrades, cloud migrations, and network setups.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to virtualization, storage, and backups.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure seamless IT service delivery.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Strong experience in managing physical servers, firewalls, and networking.
- Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and firewall management (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet).
- Experience with Azure, Office 365, and hybrid cloud environments is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Active Directory, DNS, and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with MSP environments and managing multiple clients is a plus.
