Our client is a leading company specialising in the design and manufacture of acoustical silencers and filters for a range of industries, and they are looking for someone like you to join their dynamic team!

Key Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities of the Drafting Engineer include:
  • Develop and produce detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using CAD software.
  • Collaborate closely with the engineering and design teams to ensure accurate interpretation of design specifications.
  • Create drawings for the design and production of acoustical silencers, filters, and related equipment.
  • Assist in the modification and revision of existing designs as required.
  • Ensure all drafts comply with relevant industry standards and project requirements.
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing teams during the production process.
  • Liaise with suppliers and clients to clarify design and production needs.
Key Requirements:

The key requirements of the Drafting Engineer are:
  • Proven experience in a drafting or design role, preferably in the engineering or manufacturing sectors.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of technical drawing principles and geometric tolerancing.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of acoustical silencers, filters, or HVAC systems is a plus but not essential.

Package:

£30,000 - £32,000 + 10% bonus + Early finish on Fridays.
