Certain Advantage is hiring for a Materials Science Engineer based in Huddersfield.

This role is on a contract basis and is office-based.

We're working with a manufacturing business and a global power technology leader, that specialises in generators and alternative fuel engines.

This role is for a Materials Science Engineer -someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You'll be results-orientated and driven to succeed.

You'll be working in a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:

• Technical expertise in complex components or projects
• Technical direction for a project or a project team
• Input on program-related decisions

We're looking for people who can show:

• PhD, Masters of Science, Bachelor of Science, or equivalent degree in engineering
• Specialised knowledge across Metallurgy, Failure Analysis, and Testing
• Hydrogen-driven mechanisms on metallic materials would be advantageous
