to £35K Basic – £70K OTE (Uncapped Commission Scheme) + £5K Car Allowance (or company car) + Corporate Benefits Package!


Our client is one of the UK’s leading Managed Print Service and Workplace Technology providers, partnering with Global vendors to provide industry leading solutions focused on achieving greater utilisation, maintenance and optimisation of their clients print, document management and workplace technology environment.


To drive continued success across their existing and prospective client base, they are looking to attract a highly experienced Workplace Technology business development professionals with a successful track record of developing an existing portfolio of clients, whilst always looking for the opportunity to acquire new logo business.


The successful applicant will assume responsibility for:


  • Creating and delivering an account development plan, aimed at cross-selling, upselling, and retention within your client portfolio
  • Developing and delivering a new business sales plan by Identifying and cultivating new prospects
  • Research, consult, scope, and advise on how to improve the Workplace Technology environment and performance versus cost in each client account
  • Secure inclusion on relevant commercial and public sector frameworks and manage all associated RFI's, RFP's, and tender requirements
  • Deliver pricing proposals which ensure margin performance is achieved
  • Successfully manage the entire sales process to a close and facilitate seamless client onboarding and service delivery
  • Maintain an accurate record of existing and prospective client activity by effectively updating the company CRM
  • Liaise with relevant vendors to ensure all development opportunities are maximised
  • Schedule attendance at relevant networking events and industry conferences


Candidates will likely possess the following skills, experience, and personal attributes:


  • Extensive experience gained selling Workplace Technology and/or Managed Print Services or Software Solutions
  • Highly experienced in winning new business and delivering against account development plans and roadmaps
  • A consultative approach and ability to pinpoint improvement areas to ensure each client achieves a ‘purpose built’ and bespoke solution
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to create and effectively deliver compelling presentations to a wide range of clients and stakeholders
  • Strong commercial understanding with accomplished decision-making and negotiation skills
  • A positive, enthusiastic, and focused approach with a strong determination for success
