Mobile Mechanical Engineer
Location: London (Central London, Tower Bridge, North London, Crawley, and some Home Counties)
Salary: £47,000 up to £50,000
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Mechanical Engineer to join our team, covering areas such as Central London, Tower Bridge, North London, Crawley, and some home counties. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a commercial office contract, with opportunities for Cat A and Cat B installations through our Design and Build side of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out mechanical, refrigeration, and plumbing tasks, including working on VRV s, VRF s, and Blitz systems.
- 90% of the role will be focused on mechanical and HVAC maintenance, with 10% dedicated to installation work.
- Work Monday to Friday, 8:00 am 5:00 pm, with only 6 working hours per day; the remaining 2 hours are allocated for travel time.
- Participate in a 1 in 5 call-out rotation (no standby pay as it s included in the competitive salary), with minimal call-outs expected and typically occurring during normal working hours.
- Overtime opportunities available, especially during installation projects and around 13 weeks of the year on other work.

- Yearly bonus of approximately 5% or higher, depending on company performance.
- Salary increase of 2-4% annually (based on past trends, with the current manager receiving a raise every year for the last 7 years).
- 20 days holiday, increasing by 1 day per year of service, up to a maximum of 25 days.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in mechanical or HVAC engineering, with strong knowledge in VRV/VRF systems and commercial environments.
- Longevity in previous roles, with a stable career history (the current team members have been with the company for 5-15 years).
- Preference for candidates who can demonstrate long-term commitment and dedication to their roles, avoiding frequent job changes unless there s a valid explanation.
