Fire & Safety Engineer

Fire & Security Engineer (North of England)

Location: Remote role; needs to be able to travel across the North of England with occasional visits in to the office

Salary: £35 - £45,000 based on experience

Job Summary: Responsible for managing service and works delivery in the region, ensuring profitability and compliance with company policies, BAFE, and NSI standards. The role involves managing field-based engineers and admin teams, focusing on customer service, operational KPIs, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee service operations and team performance.
• Provide monthly/quarterly forecasts and manage P&L.
• Ensure compliance with standards like BS5839 and ISO 9001.
• Authorise equipment purchases and handle escalations.

Key Competencies:

• Strong technical knowledge of fire/security systems and relevant standards.
• Project management, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
• Effective communication and attention to detail.

Other:

• Manage office security, IT, and safety.
• Part of the out-of-hours escalation process.
• Must drive & have drivers licence
• Must have prior experience of the role
