Role purpose

First of all - we're adaptable and interested in a mix of people to make the best team. We're currently looking for someone that fits either the typical data engineer or machine learning engineer role (or a blend).

This is an early hire for a young, fast-growing consultancy. We're looking for someone that is adaptable and driven that wants to grow with our business and have a strong say in how we shape the company.

Work with our expert data and analytics consultants to help customers deliver more value from their data.

This will be a key role in the technical delivery teams and will guide and support the ongoing data strategy and roadmap goals of our customers.

Day-to-day work will involve project delivery and collaborating with stakeholders across our internal and customer teams. Technical work will include building, testing, deploying, maintaining, packaging, and explaining cloud infrastructure, machine learning, data platform and advanced analytics solutions for our customers - built with modern tools across the open source and cloud platform landscape.

You'll spend time capturing requirements and working with the other consultants to turn them into production-grade solutions - getting value into production is our prime concern for all our engagements.

You will act as a champion and subject-matter expert for cloud engineering across the business, helping to cross-skill and upskill others.

You will also be heavily involved in the outreach and knowledge sharing that Hypercube does. We strongly believe that giving back to the community is an important part of our purpose and the best way to learn. We will help you grow your brand through speaking, blogging, or other outreach methods should you wish.

Finally, you’ll be in the driving seat to help shape and win new projects, whether that be through presales demos, meeting with prospective customers, or shaping longer-term relationships.

  • Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure technical tasks are completed on time and to a high-quality standard.
  • Participate in pre-sales engagements to feed into sales proposals with detailed scope of works, assumptions and correct time estimates working with a cloud architect.
