An opportunity has arisen join a Building Services Consultancy who are looking to expand
their Sustainability team by taking on a new Sustainability Consultant. You will become part of a
skilled team that will be working on numerous detailed design projects while assisting clients to
promote energy conservation and renewable technology.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- Working towards or holds a degree in Sustainability, Environmental, Mechanical (building services) Engineering or similar relevant subject.
- Understand Sustainability standards and new incoming regulation changes
- On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor OCDEA
- Non-Domestic Energy Assessor (preferential but not essential)
- Minimum 9 GCSE's A - C, including Maths and English
Experience (preferred)
- SAP Assessments & EPC production, SBEM
- Part L Assessments
- PSI Value Calculations
- NDEA Energy Assessor Level 3 or 4
- Overheating Training (IES preferential but not essential)
- BREEAM literate (preferential but not essential)
Marketing
- Have a passion for Sustainability
- Liaise with external consultants and colleagues across the practice
- Have excellent written communication skills to produce reports for both internal and external parties
- Demonstrate the ability to deal with different workloads and challenges
- A good understanding of their product, the client's needs, wants and objectives
