Freelance Architectural Technician

Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Architectural Technician to assist with Building Warrant and Planning applications for various hospitality projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that all projects meet the necessary regulatory standards and are completed to the highest level of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit detailed drawings and technical documents for Building Warrant and Planning applications.
• Ensure compliance with Scottish Building Regulations, with a particular focus on requirements specific to the hospitality sector.
• Collaborate closely with our internal team and clients to develop effective solutions that meet project specifications.
• Potential site visits to assess project requirements and monitor progress, ensuring adherence to design and regulatory standards.
• Provide technical support and advice throughout the project lifecycle, from initial design to final approval.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Architectural Technician, preferably within the hospitality sector.
• In-depth knowledge of Scottish Building Regulations and experience with Building Warrant and Planning applications.
• Strong technical drawing skills and proficiency in CAD software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Availability for site visits as required, therefore local candidates are strongly preferred.
