Fire & Security System Technician (£1500 new starter bonus)

THE ROLE

Fire & Security Systems Service & Day Works Engineer.

We are looking for someone that likes to get stuck into all aspects of the role, enjoys learning new things and has a passion to deliver great service to all our clients. Small details, such as ensuring panel stickers are upto date, right upto detailed technical problem solving, it all matters.

We recently upgraded our job management system to the market leading Uptick, allowing all service information and jobsheets & certificates to be complete with ease.

MINIMUM CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

All applicants will need to meet the minimum requirements detailed below:

• 3 Years relevant experience
• In depth knowledge of security and/or Fire systems (commissioning & client handover knowledge would be advantageous)
• Working knowledge of all relevant British & European Standards (PD6662:2017, BS8243, BS5839 Etc.)
• Ability to apply fault finding and other skills to a broad range of products
• IPAF Certified (Training will be provided if required)
• ECS Card (Training will be provided if required)
• Full UK Drivers Licence
• BS7858 Employee Screening will be required
• Call-out Rota (Very low volume due to use of call handling system, contract customers only. Average 3 phone calls per week and less than 1 physical callout)

SYSTEM TYPES AND EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE

All applicants will need to have previous experience with various fire & security systems.

We work with products such as Milestone, Axis, Bosch, Hivision, Lenel Onguard & Netbox, Janus C4, Advanced, Apollo & Hochiki.

Additional training will be provided for successful candidates.

LOCATION

Almost all work is carried out in and around the North West, with occasional travel to other areas when required.

PAY

£32,000-£40,000 per annum
