Senior Investment Strategist
A leading Investment Manager is seeking a Multi-Asset Senior Investment Strategist to work collaboratively in running the day-to-day tactical asset allocation (TAA) process. This includes overseeing macroeconomic research, investment strategy and tactical asset allocation. You will lead and developing key areas of asset allocation alongside the CIO.
Responsibilities:
- The day-to-day organisation and maintenance of the tactical asset allocation (TAA) process.
- Analysis, oversight and risk management of asset allocation to assist in generating investment recommendations.
- Trade calculation and instruction.
- Stakeholder management in order to communication investment strategies to key stakeholders.
- Analysis and views of external Investment Managers.
- Ensure knowledge of regulation and consumer duty and application to role.
Requirements:
- Qualified CFA Charterholder.
- Experience of top down, fundamental Investment strategy formation across all asset classes, in particular equities.
- Experience of using funds to implement TAA views.
- Previous ownership of investment decisions.
- A deep understanding of key macroeconomic variables and their implications for investment strategy formation.
- Knowledge of relevant macroeconomic and market metrics.
- An understanding of the analytical process for assessing investment managers.
- Risk management of multi asset portfolios.
- Discretionary portfolio management with adviser/client distribution model and platform implementation.
